Heartland National has a built-in prescription drug reimbursement benefit that offers $15 for each generic drug and $30 for each brand name drug.

Up to $60/month (e.g. 4 generic meds, or 2 brand name meds).

Client must send a picture of the prescription receipt to their agent.

Note: The client does not have to actually pay for the prescription to get this. Even if Medicare covers the prescription, they still qualify.

Use this to offset the cost of the premium.

This policy renews annually with no UW questions. This will reset all benefits, less those that have a lifetime max.

Remember that the hospital confinement rider pays the client NOT the hospital.

If their hospital stays are covered by Medicare or Medicaid completely, they will pocket 100% of this benefit.
